A Brief Word on Silence

Dear Readers,

I’ll be taking a sabbath from Fiery Word for the next short season.

This isn’t a goodbye. It’s a recognition that the work of writing these pieces requires investment. Sitting with Scripture, holding theology and lived experience in the same pen stroke, and finding the right words requires a season of silence to replenish.

The flame doesn’t go out. It just moves inward for a while.

If you’ve been reading, thank you. The community that has gathered around this work has been both gift and accountability. You’ve held me to the standard these pieces require.

When I return to it, and I will, it will be with something more to say. For now, I’m trusting that the Word does its own work in the meantime.
