Welcome to Fiery Word!

We are a weekly publication of God’s word to His children in this generation. This word is for you to grow in the knowledge of Christ, it is for new and existing believers to meditate on God’s message and encouragement in times of difficulty as well as relative ease. It is for the equipping of the saints (all of us) to handle the many challenges and ever increasing personal, professional and other trials that is characteristic of this age.

Psalm 119:105 says “Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.” This publication is just that – God’s word that provides guidance and direction, its goal is to illuminate our individual and collective paths, to promote fellowship and understanding amongst believers and to stir the hearts and minds of those who are searching for deeper meaning and for inner peace.

The Lord instructs us to “Go and make disciples of all nations." (Matthew 28:19). As we embark on this journey of sharing God’s word with each other, we reverently submit to the Most High who is the Author and Finisher of our faith. We look forward to a complete transformation of our hearts and minds as the Lord ministers to us. Hebrews 4:12 reads “For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.” We expect and welcome long lasting changes that become the testimony of God's glory and the radically transforming power of Christ in us.

What to Expect

We’ll send you a short and digestible weekly word that breaks down a scripture and its doctrine but more importantly explores the applications to our personal life and earthly relationships. We will also occasionally send resources that touch on aspects of the Christian faith such as fasting and prayer. As time passes, more publications and resources may be added but we’ll let the Lord lead and guide any efforts we undertake.

2 Timothy 3:16 tells us that “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.” Galatians 1 also warns us that any addition to or subtraction from the gospel renders it unusable and inapplicable. We take this seriously and have every intention of staying within the scriptures as God’s word and His word alone corrects, instructs, thoroughly equips and transforms us.

As you read, expect not to be conformed to this word but to be transformed by the constant renewal of your mind (Romans 12:2). Expect to discover God in news ways and to grow in His knowledge and intimacy. Together with God’s children, look forward to grasping how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ, and to know this love that surpasses knowledge (Ephesians 3:18). Foresee a strengthened faith and unmatched belief in God’s mighty saving power.

To the Most High God who is the giver of life and who orders the footsteps of His children, all power, glory, honor and adoration be unto you. My eternal thanksgiving, praise and worship belong to you and my lips will not cease in proclaiming your unmatched grace and mercy. Accept my thanks for your steadfast faithfulness, uncompromised love and unrivaled provision, protection and guidance.

To the lineage of God fearing and loving women especially my mother and grandmother (RIP) who have laid the foundation of Christ in my life and have taught me that the greatest legacy in life and death is a relationship with God, I thank you and pray for God’s continued goodness in your life.

To my friends and generals who teach me that a faith unshared is a faith untested, who embody the brotherly love that Christ passionately preached about, God bless, keep and increase you.

To all my new friends and readers of this channel I say thank you! May the good Lord who knows your heart desires grant them to you, may He bring you close and grant you peace and joy that surpasses all understanding.
